Farmer Cam’s Foods

In the fertile soils of the Skeena River Valley, Farmer Cam grows vegetables at Hidden Acres Farm and Treehouse Resort. Established in 2019, Farmer Cam’s Foods (FCF) produces nutritious microgreens, fresh greens and salad mix, and flavourful herbs, roots, and fruiting crops.

Find us at the Skeena Valley Farmers Market every Saturday from May to October, and at the new Winter Farmers’ Market at Sherwood Mountain Brewhouse every other Saturday, 3-6 pm starting Nov 9. From June through September, you can also visit the farm stand right at Hidden Acres on Tuesday nights, 5-7 PM. A pre-order form is posted on social media on Sundays so you can see what’s available and guarantee your groceries. Follow Farmer Cam’s Foods on Facebook and Instagram for updates, and check back as we continue to work on the website!

Feel free to email cam@farmercamsfoods.ca with questions, comments, and ideas.

Who’s Cam?

When asked why he chose to live in Northern BC, Cameron simply replies, “mountains, snow, and skiing”. After completing an Environmental Studies degree at UNBC, he spent two years in local government and economic development before committing to a career in agriculture. He has worked with farms, social enterprises, and urban agriculture consulting firms in BC and his home province of Ontario, and returned to the northwest last fall. Terrace provided the ideal confluence of agricultural, recreational, and musical opportunities for Cam, who is starting Farmer Cam’s Foods this year. With an entrepreneurial attitude and unbridled stoke, Cam looks forward to growing a business in the northwest.
